Red Snapper

Fresh red snapper is a premium tropical fish valued for its firm white flesh, refined flavour and attractive appearance. Its characteristic red colour makes red snapper particularly suitable for presentation as a whole fish. The flesh is also firm enough for easy filleting and portioning.

Flavour & texture

Mild, refined and slightly sweet, with firm, succulent and finely textured white flesh.

Culinary applications

Excellent for grilling, roasting or oven-cooking whole. Red snapper is also particularly suitable for pan-frying, steaming and barbecuing. It pairs beautifully with citrus, garlic, chilli, fresh herbs and Mediterranean, Caribbean and Asian flavours.
