Fresh Langoustines 8–12 per kg
Fresh langoustines from the cold North Atlantic waters around Scandinavia. Beneath their characteristic pink-orange shells is tender, succulent meat with a naturally sweet and refined flavour. The 8–12 size grade means that approximately 8 to 12 langoustines make up one kilogram. This medium-to-large grade offers an excellent balance between presentation, portion size and culinary versatility.
Flavour & texture
Naturally sweet and delicate, with a subtle nutty character. The flesh is tender, succulent and pleasantly firm.
Culinary applications
Excellent for grilling, roasting, steaming, poaching or briefly pan-frying. The langoustines can be served whole, halved lengthwise or removed from the shell, depending on the preparation. Particularly suitable for starters, seafood platters, pasta, risotto and refined main courses. The heads and shells are excellent for preparing bisques, stocks and shellfish sauces.
