Bouchot Mussels

Fresh Bouchot mussels are small, refined mussels traditionally associated with the characteristic bouchot cultivation method. Their attractive meat content and refined maritime flavour make them particularly popular in French cuisine. Their relatively small size makes them ideal for elegant presentations and classic mussel dishes.

Flavour & texture

Rich and refined, with a gently sweet-saline maritime flavour. The mussel meat is tender, succulent and pleasantly meaty.

Culinary applications

Excellent for classic moules marinières with white wine, shallots and fresh herbs. Also highly suitable for pasta, fish soup, bouillabaisse and other French and Mediterranean seafood preparations. Serve with fresh bread or fries for a classic presentation.
